Do I need to bring my own bedding and towels?

No – everything is provided at Tomnauld – sheets, pillowcases, duvets and covers come with each tent and if kids are staying sleeping bags are provided for the camp beds. Each guest is provided with one bath towel .
 

Can I bring my children Glamping?

Yes – Children are very welcome here at Tomnauld – there are plenty animals and activities for them to enjoy onsite. Travel Cots, High Chairs and changing facilities are available.

Can I bring my dog or dogs?

Yes – Tomnauld is geared around welcoming Dog owners. Dogs stay for free and there is no cap on numbers as long as they are well behaved and you are happy sharing a tent with them! Please keep dogs on a lead while walking around the farm but there is also a fenced paddock for some free running fun.

Is there electric in the tents?

Yes – Each tent has 2 electric sockets powering internal lamps and a charging socket for phones and tablets.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes– Please bring whatever food and drinks you would like. Tomnauld sells breakfast and BBQ hampers but you are very welcome to bring your own items. There is a communal fridge to store chilled and storage in the tents for your dry goods. Alcohol is not sold on site so make sure to pack your favourite tipple.

How far are the toilets and showers from the tents?

The toilet and shower barn is a short walk from tents – between 50m – 90m depending on which Tent you are staying in. It’s less than a 2-minute walk.

What shower and toilet facilities do you have?

Here at Tomnauld we understand the importance of high quality facilities have provided luxury indoor bathrooms .

We have 2 toilets and 2 separate self contained shower rooms - each with a stool and hooks for easy changing. There is also a large accessible bathroom with toilet, shower, sink and family changing area. All our toilets are flushable and our showers are hot.

Where do I park?

Parking on site is free in our car park. The car park is located a short distance from the tents and trolleys are provided to transport luggage to you tent from your vehicle.
 

I am travelling by public transport – how do I get to Tomnauld Farm?

Pick up and drop off is available from Pitlochry Train or bus station when pre booked. Local Taxis are also available and it’s a 4-mile trip from Pitlochry town centre.

Is there a bar on site?

No – Tomnauld does not have a bar on site but we welcome you to BYOB and enjoy our cosy rainy-day barn with comfy sofas, library and games area or relax outside and enjoy the views with your favourite tipple in front of the firepit.

Do you serve Food and drink?

Continental breakfast hampers, cook your own Scottish breakfast hampers and BBQ Hampers are all available to purchase with your booking or while on site. (10% discount for packs bought at booking).

How far is the farm from the nearest town?

Tomnauld Farm is 4 miles from Pitlochry, 10 miles from Dunkeld and 2 miles from Ballinluig.

How far is the nearest pub or restaurant?

Pitlochry has a large number of bars restaurants and cafes and is located 4 miles away – a short 10 minute drive.
